“Your mind is a complex entity. You have to guard it. This means you have to choose what you allow your brain to focus on. Make it free from distractions.” -  Unknown

It is estimated that our mind thinks more than 60,000 thoughts each day.  This represents close to 2,500 -3,000 thoughts per hour.  Research projects that 80% of them are negative thoughts.  Although we have no control over how these thoughts originate, we do have control over our response to them.  We have a choice to hold on to the positive ones that enable us to be our best or accept the negative ones that keep us stagnated, living below our potential. Either way, what we think will determine what we do or not do with our lives.

It has been proven that people who constantly think positive thoughts are more likely to experience greater success in whatever they set out to achieve. Those who allow negative thoughts to constantly occupy their minds are least likely to live up to their potential. We are empowered with the ability to control our thoughts and experience the life we desire.
